Well, If the rumor is true, then I will buy it and a PS4 IF the game is REALLY GOOD. As good as Final Fantasy VI or at least as Final Fantasy X. Good luck with that Square Enix, because for me those games are VERY good.

As for KZ cost... LOL!!!!! what does that tell us about articles like this? A game that people say was in development for 5 years and had to develop an engine from the ground up had a smaller budget than a game in development for 2 years using the same enging? It tells me it's bullshit

 

You say that KZ 2 and KZ 3 would cost the same because they used the same engine, which it isn't the case. Better graphics = more time which means more money.

Unless Sony is helping Square I don't know how they alone can pay the bills. So if the rumor about the game costing $120m is true the only possible way for this to make sense is if Sony is involve somehow. That or SE is extremely stupid.

No, I was using the backwards logic that was presented in the opposing argument. Which was that the development for the Luminous engine should be associated with the FF15 budget... Which makes no sense because when SE uses the same engine in a different game we won't associate it's cost to the budget. The development of the engine will be on a completely seperate bill considering it will be an asset they can use in multiple games
