Forums - Nintendo - Bayonetta 1 Petition for Wii U eShop Release

I just realized how long Bayonetta's legs are.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

Doesn't really make sense that they only want an Eshop release. A port is a port, whether its retail or digital, it still takes the same amount of work. Retail still dominates this industry so if a digital-only release for a game like Bayonetta makes no sense at all especially considering the measly amount of HDD space Wii U models have.

Yes and no. While the bulk of the work is still the same, you're taking some of the burden off the publisher for physical production/packaging/shipping, acknowledging that 3-4 year late port of Bayonetta isn't going to do that well...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

But a digital version will do worse as it severely limits who can/will buy the game.
