Got 2 messages from 2 friends on my PSN today about a virus running on the PS3.  The message is that if you accept Nivek or Nissefar as friends on PSN you will be infected...  Anybody got that?

I can't imagine how you could get a virus just from accepting someone as a friend.

Personally, I'm apt to delete people who send me spam/chain-email.

Considering that not too long ago many PS3 accounts were hacked, not once, but twice.  I wouldn't be so closed minded to a friendly warning from friends just trying to give you a heads up, however, you're free to punish friends who are just trying to give you a friendly warning. All computers (including PS3) opperate on systems that use software that transmit data to each other and this how virus's spread, and it is possible for friends to spread the virus to other friends just by being friends. 

I would imagine that's a chain mail going around. And unless those people are real life friends I'd delete them
