Forums - Nintendo - When will the Wii U get its first KO?

Pretty simple question, when will the first wii u knock off get released in your opinion or is there already one out there?

Posts without beneficial intentions will be reported swiftly

That's an example for the Wii.

Pfft, the Wii is such an obvious rip off, They didn't even think to change the name. They just took away the U!!! Who are the kidding?!? Not me, I'm not a fool!

Will they really bother? Part of the reason to make a knock-off is when the original product is popular enough to be recognizable. The Wii U also requires a second screen which would make the console more expensive and the "games" a bit more complex. They'd be much better served sticking with Wii knock-offs.

They'd probably be better with Wii knock-offs, because they're simpler.

However, no doubt there will already be one or two about, in China no doubt.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Probably in a year or two, when the tech for the second screen becomes cheap enough to reproduce with shoddy hardware

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

nah they could easily make it a wired tablet and make that the only screen for the system

Possibly not as the tablet would be hard to "knock-off" as such. Unless it was just a giant LCD, but that would be hilarious to see.
If sales climb, possibly around christmas this year or next.
