Doesn't look so good when compared to Uncharted Golden abyss:

This picture is too small to see anything. Take that one, for example:

NFS MW will start looking much better.

The image looks much worse when expanded from its original  298 x 169 resolution to the 960 x 540 you posted. That's natural.

Even in a Blurry image, Uncharted looks much better;

As someone who actually OWNS the Vita version of the game and has beaten it I can say when you are actually looking at it on the OLED screen it looks fantastic! Sure it doesn't have the level of detail of the PS3 version but it still looks great. Plus i plays like a dream and has incredible sound so for all you that are saying its "meh" then that obviously means you've never played the vita version.

PSN: extremeM

PlayStation Vita Japanese Software Sales (Media Create Physical/ Famitsu Digital)

Uncharted wasn't open-world so it was very easy for it to look good.

You think so? Look at that low-res 2D foliage, that blocky geometry, that environment composed of low-res textures, that JPEG skybox. Considering the different genres, there's not much graphical difference between the two IMO.

Looks pretty underwhelming in my opinion, like a high res PSP game. The Vita is capable of far more on paper.

Actually, it isn't. We're talking about ARM CPUs and GPUs that have to run on batteries and generally consume less than 1W, something has to be sacrificed for the low energy consumption, and that's performance.

You don't have to compromise performance for lower power consumption. On that basis, the Wii U should look like crap compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360. Maybe that Killzone Mercenary trailer has set my expectations too high, I don't know.

KZ: Mercenery = ground-up.

NFS = port

Much easier for an exclusive built around a system's architecture to look good

UC looks way better for me. But I guess different people see different things.

You're right, after all, this is a subjective discussion. And, on Vita's OLED screen, the two games should look much better, anyway.
