Oh .. YES YES!! The Vita outsold the 3DS in Japan for the first time thanks to cutting the price of the system and releasing a bunch of games the weeks the 3ds did not.
Deal with it man, Sony is in deep trouble, and is generating a cloud of smoke just to make things look favorable to them.

I´ve seen him too. But really, this is getting ridiculous. The amount of hype people are generating towards this machine, and the exagerations in every possible way ("Unprecedented Demand"), is only going to play against Sony and Sony fans when the PS4 is released and the EXTREME sales you are expecting won´t be achieved.

If the retailer reports "unprecedented demand", how is it an exaggeration on the part of Sony fans (since you ignored the first post, a response here would be nice)?


I think the retailer must be exagerating things to hype the machine. The Industry is collapsing and he must keep his job in order to stay alive. With the Wii U they did the same, but saddly the machine is not selling well. Now it´s time to try with the PS4.

It´s not an assumption, it´s a fact. If you don´t want to see it or accept it, then it´s your problem. And if you want to see the article serach it for yourself, but believ me, they did the same.


Just because your favorite company is collapsing doesnt mean the entire industry is The industry didnt collapsed when Atari/Sgea went away. Its changing, you are just to stubborn to see that

Read the article. It says that it's the best they've seen IN THEIR SEVEN YEAR HISTORY. That makes it about 2006 sometime.

These guys probably haven't even been around for a decent console preorder before...

That's all they're comparing it to? Wooooow.

You should already know that the majority of 3DSes sold after the price was cut, and just like all Nintendo consoles, there is never many preorders, snce the manufacturer tends to keep supply up with overwhelming demand. I can list a dozen friends who didn't preorder and instead waited for a final price on launch day.

As for the Vita, what do you want me to say?

I don't expect you to say anything about it. This is a news article and whatever other items they may be comparing it to, it still is good that the thing is being pre-ordered like this.
