Hows that "PS3 flat or slightly down this year" going for you?

People are getting strangely giddy at the undertracking here, but this result still has PS3 down 27% YOY.  So my prediction of PS3 down by about 30% (and 360 down by 35 to 40%) is pretty good dont you think?

You complained for my first comment so the crow is for the first... after I admited that you are right about the months in NPD and December have PS3 over... Jan an Nov I was right.

The flat is about Japan only... US and Europe is more like 20% down in US and 10% down in Europe.

Your 30% down for PS3 and 35% for 360 is unrealistic... even the last year in Europe the PS3 was just 11% down and 360 down 18%... this drop is almost impossible to happened without a sucessor in the market... and PS3 and 360 is yet selling realy good.

I was wrong about other thing too... this month ended "AMAZING undertracked month for PS3" insted "another boring undertracked month for PS3"

If you add 1m for each than you have 14% down for PS3 and 21% down for 360... I expect the same % this year.

globally, your PS3 prediction is for shipments to drop 7%

;) but not 0% and the sales will be ~15% down yoy for US and EU... less in the others region and flat in Japan.. not ~30% down... I guess that a good prediction

Edit- About the others regions it will be UP... Brazil already have the sales UP YoY (overall all consoles UP ~90% in 2012)... and there is China.

Well it could be anywhere between 95k and 117k. That seems about in line with what the previous entries did so I guess it isn't too shabby!
