Yes, Tomodachi Collection New Life, a Japanese only game is coming to store shelves in April. It wont be as high as Pokemon XY/Monster Hunter 4 in terms of sales but just maybe it can be a System Seller.

How much will this 3DS Title sell Lifetime? 2mil? 3mil? maybe even 4mil?

Cause if it is and the prequel sold a lot then, Yes, I would say this will be a system seller.

If no, then probably not, since this would be seen as a Animal Crossing Knockoff.

funny thing its 1st party, meaning Nintendo has both so its fine lol. It uses mii's Japanese people love it! The first one sold 3.67mil. It outsold MK Wii and other titles making it the 24th best selling game ever in japan!

Just to note with the exception of Monster Hunter Freedom 3, the prequel is the best selling game of all time (exclusive to japan)!

I doubt it will do as well as the original did on DS, but you never know, I suppose. If they're giving it the XL bundle treatment, you can be sure they expect great things from it. The game's made multiple appearances in Japanese Nintendo Directs so far this year.

I wonder if this one will end up getting localized. Could appeal to Animal Crossing fans, no?

Oh, is this that game shown in the Nintendo Direct? The one where Iwata's Mii was singing in a band and doing other daily life activities?

Seeing as how the prequel was a highly successful game, I say that this game will at least pull 1.5million in it's lifetime. Nintendo is just keeps calling in those bomb drops. LOL

yes thats the game, i dont kno it seems it'll be big. Animal Crossing New Leaf is selling crazy, this game might as well. It looks 100x better than the first one. Those japanese with their weirdness!

I think it will fall in the same boat as the Brain Age game on the 3DS.

By the way what happened to this game? I guess it was overshadowed by Animal Crossing.

i dont kno, but the first game is the 2nd highest japanese exclusive game in terms of sales. 3DS looks alot better. The demand might be very high. AC and this game for casuals will make $$$$$$$$$
