I bought PS+ for the automatic updates and cloud storage so anything more is an added bonus

as far as PS+ games go; true the the games aren't "free" but there's no denying that the content you receive is much greater than the $18(3 months) or $50(12 months) you pay for

just this month US ps+ users have received Spec ops: The line, Joe Danger 2: The movie; will receive Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention, The Cave, and Tekken 6(albeit it's on PSP -_-) that's about $150 in content(by PSN pricing) for the $50 I paid for let alone all the monthly discounts you get.

This. I would rather emphasize on it as well. And the problem is commenting further would only lead to flamebaits. It's better to stay out.

Not all fans from a certain group is bad.  For example both you and Jay520 are reasonable even though you all are fans of Sony.  I think the issue is that there is a lot of fans that are bad on this site as well.  Last week for example showed how poor this community is.  So even though you and some fans that are mainly one console minded are not bad there are still a lot that are.  And as long as they keep acting the way they do then you will continue to see these type of threads.  It is hard to say that there is not a lot of fans like that either or else people would not be reacting to these type of things.  I can use plenty of examples and I constantly test to see peoples limits on this website.

And yes there is annoying xbox fans and Nintendo fans as well.  All biased people are annoying and that is simple to figure out.  Numbers is what makes it look worst for one group though.

That's not the point I was making.  Unless the exact three people in your OP made hypocritical remarks, then you have no examples of people being hypocrites. You need to provide evidence that they bashed Xbox Live for having a cost AND praised PS+ for being free. Otherwise you are just assuming these people are hypocrites.

But that's not the biggest problem with this thread. The biggest problem is that you are taking the opinions of three people to make judgements about Sony fans as a whole. This logic is flawed for a few reasons. Firstly, no three people will accurately represent any fanbase on here. And they  secondly, Michael-5 isn't even a big Sony fan. I don't even recognize the other two so they may not be Sony fans either. 

Furthermore, the first and second posts in the OP aren't bashing Xbox Live.

Here are all the mistakes you've made outlined in clear fashion: 

1. You assumed three people are hypocrites when you didn't have their opinions of both Xbox Live and Playstation Plus.
2. You assumed these three people were Sony fans.
3. You made statements about Sony fans in general, rather than precisely about those three people.
4. You falsely accused most of those posts as bashing. Stating that a game isn't free isn't bashing, even if it may be false.

Just let the thread die, we don't need retaliation threads for every time we disagree with others opinions guys.

They're both free, but you actually get games you care about on PS+(and on a weekly basis)The games are actually good. You get real games for free not some weird arcade game.

People say free for lack of a better word when talking about the upcoming plus games, to be technically correct we should all say limited time 100% Discount?

Comparing what plus offers to one free 2 play game seems a little daft, sorry original poster. There are also F2P games on PSN that don't even require plus at all.

Put there are F2P games on both platforms for a reason, because there Pay to Win business models, nothing whatsoever to do with your Gold or Plus subs.

There are some free games for non PS Plus member too. Just saying.
