Ugh, micro-transactions are the filthy, rotting gangrene of gaming.

Fair enough. It seems to be only cosmetic stuff. But it also seems like a slippery slope.

These aren't a catastrophe, no, but I fear it's a sign of much worse to come.

It's only a matter of time before a companies starts putting microtransactions into a pay to win environment.

Diablo 3 had the RMAH and people could pay to with that way.
One day developers will sell their own stuff to help others boost in PvP.

I'd say I was disappointed, but then I'd have to be surprised.

I traded in that game along time ago. not a big deal in my mind.

Next thing you know, they will make you pay for advanced pro perks and pay to prestige. It's foolproof.

This isn't like TF2 because the TF2 items have gameplay affecting bonuses. These CoD items are purely cosmetic. Imho this is how companies should do micro transactions. Not allow you early access to some super weapon or easy unlocks like EA does it.

these dont seem too bad in that they wont affect game play. But they are definitely money grabs. These dont bother me so much, as long as they dont start limiting stuff just so you buy more slots (like the custom slots)

People like to make big deals out of every small little thing huh? (not Pezus) but just people over the internet in general.
