Uncharted 2 vs. Shadow/Colossus Portal 2 vs. Persona 4 Super Mario 64 vs. GTA: San Andreas Final Fantasy X vs. Chrono Trigger Resident Evil 4 vs. Pokemon Gold/Silver Link's Awakening vs. Xenoblade Chronicles Super Mario RPG vs. Metal Gear Solid 3 Metal Gear Solid 4 vs. Super Metroid

1. This was a no-brainer for me. I'm not fond of third-person shooters, but action/adventure games are awesome. Especially SotC.
2. Still mean to get around to Persona 4, though 3 was really good.
3. Another no-brainer.
4. It's freaking Chrono Trigger.
5. It's freaking Pokemon. Also remember what I said about third-person shooters?
6. Finally a hard choice. These are two of my top 25 favorite games, but Xenoblade edges LA out.
7. Another fairly hard one. I like the MGS series, but SMRPG had a massive impact on my gaming life.
8. Less hard. One is a game I like, and the other is a game I love. Clearly I should go with the latter.

I was getting stressed with Chrono Trigger, since it looked like it was loosing to me. I'm glad it went further, wven though I like FFX more.:(

I think there were more than a few "Xenoblade just seems cooler" votes along with the neo-Nintendo and JRPG crowd love. Either way, I was certainly torn about that matchup.

I can't believe MGS4 beat Super Metroid. Super Metroid is legendary and MGS4 is a mild disappointment.

Same here. MGS4 didn't live up to the heights of MGS3 imo, and Super Metroid is, well, Super Metroid.
