You mean KZ2 or Shadowfall? Honestly, while they do a good job, they're just missing that dirty, messy chaos that made the 2005 teaser so spellbinding for me. They're too organized.

lol I forgot the number... KZ2 or KZ3.

But of course I never had a real warzone experience

KZ actually looked better than the 2005 trailer except for the facial animations.

The final game of KZ2 employed more over-the-top filters and shaders to try to look flashier, but part for part it fell short of the 2005 teaser; character models, geometry, textures, animations, explosions, and other particle effects were all better in the CGI trailer.

Honestly, it wasn't even the graphics that appealed to me so much in that teaser, it was the visceral, fluid feel of the combat; it was almost like being in an actual warzone. Not a single game of any platform or franchise I've played has managed to capture this feel yet in actual gameplay yet.

I can see what you mean by fluid. Movement just felt smooth and natural, but I guess that's what really gives it away as CGI; no FPS I've played has mechanics that smooth.

Neither have I, I'm honestly just going by how the better war movies presernt it. XD

Seriously why do people say ShadowFall is real gamplay FO SHO!?

If I can make a game I can also make an in engine trailer that looks like someone is playing the game. So saying it is gameplay 100% is somewhat unsmart. Why do people say it anyways? because sony said so?

Look at the e3 2005 presentation NOTHING that sony said was true I mean were is the second HDMI port of the ps3? The ps3 also did NOT have the biggest number of transistors. Half of the games shown dont even exist today. Etc. etc. Sony is godlike when it comes to fooling people.

I mean even the Last of Us trailer #1 was In-Engine. Why do you think they didnt mention the game is running on PS3 hardware and that the video you see is realtime ingame graphics????

They just said "this trailer is directly captured from a PS3 system" Guess what when I download this video and play it on my hacked Wii or my 360 or GBA for that matter (media player module) and then record it, it will be "This trailer is directly captured from a Wii/360/GBA system"

Sony did not lie with the last of us it just knows that people are not smart enough to actually read and understad whats going on.

People should wake up and should stop believing everything. At least try to doubt shit others tell you.

Because it was on Jimmy Kimmel and he played it terribly?

Was it 100% the same as the stuff you see in the "video"  same textures same effects etc?

I know that there is screenshots of the new killzone that look better than the video   (video has engine related motion blur  but the screenshot is supersharp and also has a slightly different angle at the exact same place)

You know its no work at all to make a great looking game and come up with  even better looking video.  (its just the next step of bullshot  but this time its with a video not screenshot)

That smoothness is what seals the deal for me. The fluid motion and animation is just unmatched by anything actually playable, IMO (save perhaps the Crysis 3 "7 Wonders" videos I've seen on YT).

As you said earlier, there's more going on in the Shadow Fall demo and it doesn't feel as empty, but it just doesn't look nearly as polished to me. In fact, call me jaded, but the combat sequence of the Shadow Fall demo really didn't impress me that much at all. Frankly, it just looks decidedly unfinished IMO. However, I fully expect the final game to leave a much better impression on me.

With all the over the top yelling that has been going on on this show when they try games, I think they suck as bad as they do on purpose most of the time, because the audience think these reactions are funny.

I couldn't watch the video all the way through because they were just so predictably annoying.
