Who cares. The guy makes such a big deal out of nothing.

I saw this yesterday. Personally I think he overreacted to it. I know i'm a GUY, but I really don't think that's anything to get worked up over.

Also, this is a trophy from the new Tomb Raider game.

No that trophy in Tomb Raider is fine because she's a woman who is killing men. Totally acceptable.

meh i think the name makes it worse, but it will change nothing, and as long as the mainstream media doesn't catch wind of it, then all is well i guess. Adam used way to many big words for those posting on facebook lol.

i'd expect that from Snoops new game, but not God Of War.   

I'm new to God of War (just bought the saga yesterday) so i'm not totally familiar with the over all tone of the series. I suppose I wouldn't expect that to be the name of a trophy in a game about killing gods and creatures and what not, but still I think he simply over reacted.

Watch those people who thought Sony was sexist for lack of women at the conference use this as ammunition lol.

I think he under reacted t it. He should go to all of his old God of War reviews and mark them all down a point for this outrage.

That is not even remotely the same kind of thing. Most action games have kill count achievements. Killing is essential to the game and racking up a kill count is natural in all violent games.

Adam Sessler is 100% right. If the GOW games are supposed to be mature than the sex scenes have a purpose. The Trophy title reduces it to nothing more than a juvenile excuse for virtual T&A. There were those who once used GOW as an example of mature entertainment in gaming, but now it's clear that the devs did not intent it to be that. The only reason there is sex and nudity in GOW is because they know it tantalizes the same manchildren whom the gratuitous gore was made over the top for. Adam Sessler thought the series had depth, but it really just capitalizes on the sensational.

I'm not offending and I don't think Adam Sessler is either, but I agree with him that it's disappointing. They could have taken the high road. I don't think GOW should be 100% serious. There's room for humor. But this joke does the game no credit. It's not even funny enough to make up for objectifying women.

Gratutious gore and excessive nudity/sex, is that not what God of War is all about? Since when has this been a series championed to the public as "mature" entertainment? I mean, all I ever see is GIFS of Kratos doing gruesome, gory attacks on freakish monsters.

Anyway, lots of developers these days are trying to be smart with trophy titles, and it's almost always lame. This is just another one of many, not going to give it much more attention then that.
