Pezus, tell our fellow PS gamers to support GOW:Ascension at Metacritic.  Lots of trolls are screwing the user score.  I did my part and posted my review there.

yeah, but if you can encourage some people here to help, it could get a higher score.  They just need to go there and select 10 to counter the 0/10 the game is getting. It is quite fast. GOW fans are defending this game all over the internet.   That only dudes that say the game is crap are trolls who just want the franchise to fail.  They even write: "I am a big GOW fan, but this game is just boring" and slap a 0/10 on it.  Or repeat what it is said in some reviews (copy-paste).  It is very annoying, really.  So I was hoping that maybe, as leader of PS here, if you could encourage the users or some friends of yours here support for the game. :D

Well I'm going to do my review on Amazon tonight since I bought it there. I don't have an account on metacritic, so after I'll create one and write a review there too. This game is very refined and any true fan would notice that it shines above the rest. It's worlds apart from the PS2/PSP versions in terms of combat. I don't see how people could say it is 'more of the same' but to each his own I guess. The PS3 versions of GOW are on another level.

Hope this game sells as good as GOW 3. So far its the BEST GOW game I've ever played...and that's saying a lot.

The IGN user rating is as high as GOW III. So I'm guessing people really like it.

Metacritic I feel doesn't provide an accurate user score. ME3 has a 5.4/10 which is something it truly doesn't deserve. Granted, it has a horrible ending but the 9.2 on IGN makes much more sense as it is a great game.
