I wouldn't take Famitsu scores to heart...they seem to be somewhat random.

I think it will manage between a 86-91.  Should be fine :)  Because it isn't new anymore the score could be lower than previous instalments regardless if it is better but it's gameplay will still be superb and that alone will give it great reviews.  If it wants a 90+ i think it will depend on how good the storyline is.

I say it will likely get around an 88 though but that is still awesome this late in the gen :)

It'll be lucky to score 86 considering the MP isnt even up yet so they wont even get to experience it...

Hunch but I feel confident on my "prediction" based on what some reviewers have said (frustration, no MP component being tested, 7-8 hour campaign that is a prequel.. i mean yeah).

I wasn't aware of that but I dont really expect the multiplayer to be a game changer either.  I think it will be like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood where it is a unique idea but not really something that a lot of people will rush out and buy it for either.  But yeah 86 is very likely.  I have a hard time seeing it score below an 85 though unless they really mess something up.

GOW3 got good scores and wasn't very good so we'll se about this one.

Ascension does indeed tell a story that while interesting: Is a way of kind of testing the MP component for the inevitable GoWIV. If they screw up, it'll be a "prequel" they screw up.

The competetive and Co-Op has been what has been showcased the most ever since they unveiled Ascension. To think it is not a game changer is somewhat silly. You might not be interested, but the effort put into that cannot be denied. I was in the beta and I have followed the Rise of the Warrior online "game". What they're doing is pretty damn amazing and it is a game changer to me and many others.

Also: Users and reviewers have reported issues with the "sound" as well as difficulty/design. It's looking a bit.. odd, I'll leave it at that.

EDIT: Unless reviewers wait a couple of days and try the MP => I fear for this game :( IT AINT RIGHT!

I haven't played the beta so I won't judge that and Ill wait until i play it myself.  Co-op is cool though XD So you do think there is going to be a GoWIV?

Yeah i heard about the difficulty.  Hopefully it's good difficulty instead of frustrating due to bad design.  

And yeah most reviewers wont wait for multiplayer. But some of the later ones will. So if it is truly a game changer you may see it's scores gradually go up through time instead of down like most games.

Probably not. I expect to see those sites that have given ridicilous low scores to come in late like always (like the Halo 4 ones).

The MP if anything will put it up like a +0.5 or 1 for a reviewer. So it wont really add THAT much but it sure adds it if everyone cared to give it a shot :(.

GoWIV may or may not be with or without Kratos and Greek mythology. But yeah: It'll happen. They're not making a MP to never expand on.
