Booo, I was left in the dark, surprised I actually survived that last night.
Anyways, good game I guess.

good work on this one!
I thought that you would shut the gambit down early, so decided to work on my final paper a bit before I was lynched.
Serious mistake.
also, excellent work to benao. I was very impressed with how quickly you caught onto things.

MT Zehvor in prof's message box.

spurgeonryan said: Lol! Why did he post there? |
He said he was following the game but decided not to post willingly because he wanted to save himself.

I was lucky near the end. If anything went wrong, the mafia would have probably killed me that last night.

spurgeonryan said: Lots of lurkers this game. Imo. Happyd said no, but I say yes. Astro, but obviously that was for a good reason. Mtzehvo Fucking Seth! Stefl Final fan in sections. Zero sporadically. @ rol I said I had no reads this game. I was honest. Noctis was at my throat, stefl did not post, happyd was a loon. |
You tunneled me all game and I'm the loon. Gj.
So who's suppose to be hosting the next round?

RolStoppable said: @bong Did you lie about your role or did you misunderstand it? Since I got access to the mod thread, I know that shield negates any action that is used on your target, except for kills. You weren't just a roleblocker blocker. Your role was far from common and it was a double-edged sword. On one hand you could negate scum abilities (like neutralizer and role finder), but you could have also negated protection from the doctor which would have allowed a mafia kill to go through on your target. Or make the cop or tracker waste a shot. It certainly wasn't an easy role to use, because the likelyhood to do harm to town was higher than using it in a beneficial manner. As for the Day game, you played well. You were active, tried to look at situations from different angles and you didn't get irritated by the one or other mistake you made. Regarding the other newbies, astro and benao played decently. I would have to nitpick to really criticize them. seth's performance was unsatisfactory, because he had to be modkilled. zehvor wasn't new to Mafia, it was just his first game here. Not a good game at all from him, very detrimental to town, because his non-play kept the pool of suspects higher than it needed to be. |
I misundrstood it, or just partially understood it I guess. A better explanation on the role from the host would have been helpful. I was concerned about using it, and apparently miss used it once when I kept happydolphin(?) from being recharged by radish.
As for the game, a very interesting game and I can tell that I am very inexperienced when I see the quick topics. There is a whole level of possibilities that I didn't even consider since I haven't seen those configurations before. Thanks for the complement, but I am disappointed in my performance. Only reads I am truely happy with is that I understood that Seth was being coached to play up his status as new and that I picked up on benoa's change in style and moved of a very solid town read to a strong scum suspision. Other than that I was mostly off.
Bong, benoa, Astro I hope you guys will all play again.
As I said in the dead thread scum never stood a chance, but I'm glad everyone seems to have had fun all the same.
And spurge, you called Round 55 in http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=149538&page=1
Otherwise, it goes to ABC or Yoshiya.
