Conclusion: A decent open world game, and not a bad exclusive, but not a must-buy like many were hoping for.



Maybe I'll get this when it's cheaper, but for now, I still have launch ports like Assassin's Creed to play and titles like Monster Hunter 3U, Injustice, Need for Speed, and Pikmin 3 to look forward to.


I'd call it a must buy. Reading between the lines here, most reviewers found the game to be extremely fun despite its flaws. And not just fun for kids.

most previous lego games are extremlxy fun despite the flaws and I've played them all(except first and boring harry potter),but not one is a must buy.
i wish they would improve the gameplay.

They mention how fun it is and how varied are the missions, something that GTA clones could learn off.

Added more reviews to OP. The game now stands as 80% with 29 reviews. This is right about where I expected/hoped it to stay.

This game is an essential purchase for anyone that owns a Wii U. I can easily see myself putting well over a hundred hours into this game.
