Wii U System Update Adds "Stability Improvements"

A while back, Nintendo publicly admitted that the Wii U needed a speed boost, and stated that updates were on the way this year which will make games boot faster and generally streamline the user experience.
Today, an 30MB update — version 2.1.3 U — has been pushed to consoles all over the world which offers "further improvements to overall system stability", according to Nintendo. It's not the long-awaited speed update, but it's good to see Nintendo is working so hard on making the console as good as it can be.

Meh... I totally expected this to be the great Spring Update This console needs a speed boost in almost every regard:

- Boot up time of the main menu / time it takes to return to the menu
- Boot up time of software (at least for VC games boot up should be instantaneous)
- Horrendous loading times of apps and stuff like system settings
- download speeds of software bought from the eShop (seriously... and it gets even slower when you download stuff in the background)
- Time it takes to install software (this is Flash storage! Why does installing F-Zero take more than 1 minute?)

I just hope the download and install times can be improved by the updates, too. I recently watched a video in which someone moved software from the internal storage to an HDD and back - moving it back took way (waaay) longer than moving it to the HDD so this *could* be a sign of a really slow internal storage.
