So I upgraded my bow and I'm just sniping with it all day long now lol.

I bought 2 copies haha, I imported a survival edition from europe so I can have box. But I don't get it today, so I bought it again. |
nah I gave all my spare games away, I will pick it up later and I'm skipping HotS at launch as well. Which just leaves my good old Bioshock infinite pre-order for this month. I got Path of Exile and my back catalog to play anyway.

The game looks really good even though I can't run it in fabulous hair mode. But man, turn down the QTE bullshit, please?

My PC can run these easily, but to run them on ultra i would have to upgrade my graphics card, i got 15 to 20fps on Sleeping Dogs on high settings lol. I only have a Nvidia GeForce 550 Ti, damn technology moves fast! |
I personally think Crysis 3 looks a lot better. I think Tomb Raider looks like Witcher 2 level. Which is still fantastic. Both games TW2 and TR have some funny animations at certain places. Atleast from my gameplay and other videos.
That's without taking Aesthetic into account ofcourse.
The games fun though and not too uncharted-y imo. Like I've said before it reminds me of resident evil 4 with platforming but I might be weird. (Less zombies too obviously).
i will be getting it on PS3 (when it hits £20)

Oh, I completely agree about the aiming in Uncharted 3. It seemed very inaccurate to me as well - and I had no issue with it whatsoever in the first two games. Also, the flickering you mention is also something I hate in many games because the devs push so much detail for the hardware. Play God of War Collection on PS3 and it runs smooth as silk. Then play God of War 3 and you notice a ton of shimmering in the graphics because of the level of detail. Sure, the graphics are better, but there's something to be said for flawless, albeit simpler visual fidelity. |
Glad I'm not alone.
Have you played Uncharted3 in 3D? It looks horrendous! Haha, can't believe I'm saying all this. Funny how our expectations shift towards the end of a console gen.
And GT5. Oh gosh.

Cool, i want it eventually, it looks like a fun game. I like Uncharted anyway, but they shouldn't be compared (tomb raider series came out way before uncharted) . But is this open world?, it looks like it from the trailers i have seen

Prediction: Switch will sell better than Wii U Lifetime Sales by Jan 1st 2018
Announced along with Uncharted 3, have been in development for 5 years, sure it had to look good compared to a game which came out in 2011.
I'm not at all worried about the quality of the visuals. I fear that the gameplay is shallow, riddled with QTE's and filled with sequences throughout. The whole series also appears to have become an action fest, nothing like the original feel and setting at all.
I've been looking through the gaf pc screenshot thread and it does look amazing, though I think Crysis 3 edges it out graphically, mostly because it just looks more vibrant and colourful. I'll look forward to seeing a TR mod that tweaks the brown colours a bit on PC.
