I know it was just announced but it seems like its everywhere. IGN alone has at least 10 videos about it. Im excited for it and can't wait for more news, as long as its not 4 videos and 5 articles that have the same information. Anyone else feel this way or am I just crazy.

I agree. This is the most interested I've been in the series, ever. I played a bit of the second game, didn't really care for it, and haven't played an AC game since, but, damn it all, pirates.

One of my least favorite video game series. Never understood why people loved it so much. Very over rated, underwhelming, boring series in my opinion.
I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Go to IGN's youtube page, you will see what I mean. Most websites arnt that bad one or two articles about it but IGN went crazy with it.
I'll only be interested in an AC game if it's set during feudal Japan or Three Kingdoms China.

Yeh... struggling to finish AC3... gawd im so bored of it.. I went back to skyrim.
Not really. The game is based in a location I can relate to since my maternal grand mother is from that part of the region. This is the first AC game I've been excited for since ACII. After 2 my interest started to wane, but this game may prove to be more interesting for me. Hopefully, there is a better balance between stealth and action (though I doubt it given the setting).
