Will Paper Mario Sticker Star Be the highest selling Title in the series? Its been out for a over 3 months and about to surpass the original!

It would be hard pressed to outsell Super Paper Mario.

At any rate, I hope the sales justify a Wii U Paper Mario game that delivers on the grand experience the console has to offer.

i agree, Surpassing 3.5mil is pretty damn good, especially since this lacks the potential as the first two in the series. How much do you think it'll have lifetime? I'll guess 4.5-5mil

I have no idea. Surpassing the original seems a given. TTYD I dunno, very possible, and SPM seems far, far off, perhaps out of reach, given the fact that it was a Mario title and on Wii.

lets not forget its still growing (3DS) and Sticker star been out for under 4 months! IMO i think the game will sell over 2.5mil by years end!

With Sticker Star we have 2 new variables:

1) They changed the gameplay;
2) It is a portable game (for the first time in the series);

Both make sales' comparisons with the previous titles in the series a bit hard. But given the grown of the series across the generations I would not be surprised if it manages to cross the 3 million barrier.

I hope they remake the original for WiiU or 3DS. One of my favorite games of all time.
