That's the problem.


They are done with Unreal 3 they might as well have used to old architecture from three. Its cost effective and the profits will be huge.

Gears of War would sell like hotcakes on both platforms. They would do GTA numbers.

people can fly are creating judgment and you can see the difference. judgment likely won't get higher then 90 on metric. may settle at 88. 

if Epic creates gears in for the 8th gen. then yea. i say lets get a petition going.

no way would they do GTA numbers. GTA numbers are 20+ and around 25million. gears numbers now are around 6 million i recond it would become 10+ million if they release on playstation

I heard Cliffy B left Epic because he didn't want to be contracted into making Gears FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

Microsoft doesn't own the Gears of War ip or Epic Games. So they are not the ones to blame for all the milking that's been going on.

So funny how the entire article has nothing to do with this coming to any Sony platform, yet the writer has to stir the pot.

Yes we know the franchise belongs to Epic. However there are a things called contracts. Microsoft doesn't just cut the check and get the games. There are deals signed and the speculation for a long time has been Microsoft has been locked into a new trilogy for the 720 for a few years.

Do you ever lookup any articles lol? It was even said by one of IGN's Xbox members it's pretty OBVIOUS Microsoft is paying Epic to keep making Gears. If Cliffy B loved the franchise and wanted to make more there would be no reason to leave the way he did. It's obvious that he doesn't want to make Gears exclusive for Xbox for as long as he lives.

Exactly Microsoft has Epic under a paid contract to make Gears for them until they see it fit to stop which is sad. The franchise is dead amoungst Gears fans judging by it's pre orders. The sole reason why Cliffy left.
