You forgot Gears of War and Call of Dooty, seriosly though as a Sony and Nintendo guy i would still buy an Xbox for non gaming kids. kinect although terrible for gaming is brilliant for clueless hyperactive kids. seeing as they own a Wii U im shocked they would want a different console.

They are 5 and 6

Then I would dump the older kid games like Jak & Daxter and Rachet and Clank. They aren't inappropriate for little kids, but I think they are too advanced for them.

Look at it like board games. With five to six year olds you're going to play Candy Land, not Monopoly.

That's true but they are pretty good at games for there age and with  1 to 2 years i could see them liking those games.

little kids are not going to want to play 3D Dot heroes or motorstorm.  Im not talking about kids from 8-12 years old.  Im talking about little kids below the age of 7


Seems to me like they shouldn't even buy either since they'd be spending $300 on something they don't need. Most of the good "kids" games on Xbox or PS3  are for kids around the age of 10 not below 7. Like others are saying just save and buy them some Wii/WiiU games or even a 3DS for on the road if they don't have one yet.

Im not the one who wants to buy them one.  They already have a  wii/WiiU/3DS/Gamecube.  But i agree with you
