Yeah, Rare went downhill after being acquired by MS. PD:Zero was quite bad, Kameo was solid and Viva Pinata maybe the last great game they made. Nevertheless I would be happy if at least 4J made a HD Port like they did for the original Perfect Dark.

Maybe Nintendo should get the rights of the franchise and let Retro make a game. That would be a good fit!

I don't think what he said is rude, it's probably true. I'd like to wrong and I hope Rare can return to even some of it's former glory. Perfect Dark is one of my all time favs.


Laughing and telling people to give up would be considered as being rude.  They still dont make bad games.  They dont make as good as games as they did in the mid to late 90's but none the less there games are still not bad today.

I wasn't trying to be rude... just saying don't put any hopes into this. Rare is dead... it's best to remember them for what they were.

Rare can't return to its former glory because 90% of the developers have left sadly. So even though they still have all the IPs it doesn't mean anything.... look what they did to Banjo : ( : (. Banjo Threeie on the 360 would've been AWESOME and instead we got N&B... it wouldn't have been a bad spin off but 8 years for that? : (.

LOL just because people left RARE doesn't mean a game can't be made.

The question will be will it be good or bad if it does come out.

Personally I would love to see another Jet Force Gemini.

I'd LOVE another JFG, be it XBLA remake or full fledged sequel, though I wonder how the art style would fit on a next-gen console. I certainly wouldn't want the characters to look like they came straight out of a Halo or Gears game lol.

I would buy whatever console necessary just to play a HD remake of this game...
This is one case where I would rather a remake than a sequel, just because Rare has changed so much...
I can only imagine what the soundtrack redone would sound like...
This game was so great...

There makes no sense for this game to be made today as a retail game. The old mechanics aren't anything that could be remade today with commercial success, the name isn't a strong brand in itself and the story/topic of the game can't really be done without it being a joke (see Earth Defense Force)

XBL game I guess is a possibility but even that seems like a stretch.

Killer Instinct though would be awesome.
