Forums - Gaming - Nintendo Wii loses an exclusive!

So...what? Consoles are losing exclusives as we speak (?). I just though this thread was about No More Heroes 1 not being exclusive anymore or something like that xD

However, it surprises me in the sense that it transfer from a console to a mobile. Not that I care of mobile gaming much, but...

They still make wii games?

That game is years old, even Conduit 2 is already some years in the past.

Oh, that makes sense.

Is it bad that I've never heard of this game?

Was it a good game?

Thats a pretty big downgrade to what phones are used to.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

Big loss.

That was sarcasm.

IMO it was okay. It was pretty, colourful, yet sometimes very generic, and the story ended with a huge cliffhanger.

Dang. This must be that MEGATON exclusive that was rumoured to be going 3rd party. Nintendoomed.

Who is John Galt?

3DS Friend Code : 2535-4338-9000

AMD FX 8150 , 8 GB DDR3 Kingston Memory,  EVGA GTX 560 TI 2 GB superclocked, Samsung 256 GB SSD

The best part about this game was its Wiimote+Nunchuk controls ... but on android you only have horrible touchscreen controls for shooter (or a normal controller on one of the android consoles)

Yes, it is very bad and you should give up your gamer credentials and leave the community on shame. :D

This game came out a while back in 2009, it received a lot of press, because it was one of the first FPS for the Wii that was trying to take real advantage of it. The development team worked hard to achieve some graphical effects that were considered impossible on the console, they worked a lot to make the controls perfect, they leave a lot of customization options on it so people could find a configuration that the feel confortable with and they also created an online option that support 12 players with many game modes, no need to use friend codes, chat support, etc.

The problem is that a game is just technologically impressive, and nothing else much, the plot was interesting but not very well told, the character/enemy design was average, the gameplay was very linear, and the online component was full of cheaters that ruined the experience for those who were trying to have fun.

It was a good game for me, but it is clear that it had many issues, and just a few months later the other bigger companies started to understand the console, the controls and put their efforts on it, so the game that at the launch moment was unique and special for the Wii, became just average and got forgotten.

The sequel improve on a lot of the issues of the original and the developers really heard the players, but it was a case of just too little too late. And it got devastated by the review community, and the sales of the original were never achieved.
