Yes, it is very bad and you should give up your gamer credentials and leave the community on shame. :D
This game came out a while back in 2009, it received a lot of press, because it was one of the first FPS for the Wii that was trying to take real advantage of it. The development team worked hard to achieve some graphical effects that were considered impossible on the console, they worked a lot to make the controls perfect, they leave a lot of customization options on it so people could find a configuration that the feel confortable with and they also created an online option that support 12 players with many game modes, no need to use friend codes, chat support, etc.
The problem is that a game is just technologically impressive, and nothing else much, the plot was interesting but not very well told, the character/enemy design was average, the gameplay was very linear, and the online component was full of cheaters that ruined the experience for those who were trying to have fun.
It was a good game for me, but it is clear that it had many issues, and just a few months later the other bigger companies started to understand the console, the controls and put their efforts on it, so the game that at the launch moment was unique and special for the Wii, became just average and got forgotten.
The sequel improve on a lot of the issues of the original and the developers really heard the players, but it was a case of just too little too late. And it got devastated by the review community, and the sales of the original were never achieved.
