I switched from Nintendo to Playstation when I grew up. My wife still has a wii though, so that's okay (mind you, she hasn't played it in about 2 years).
My son grew out of the wii and his console of choice is the 360.

Yeah my kids were similar, I was pretty much bored of the wii after about 6-8 months, kids followed me onto the PS3/Xbox as I started getting them and lots more games for those consoles.

This is one of the things that's really killing the Wii U. People didn't sit around and wait for the Wii successor, even kids migrated over to the PS3 or 360 in many cases years ago.
Wait, what kind of logical and relatable post is this? ![]()
It's rare someone on this site is this logical in analysing themselves.
Let me just clap at my computer screen for a bit. ![]()

Don't make posts with no substance.

What? You wanted me to make a post about how Nintendo is great despite the poor library of each of their systems, the prolonged droughts they each suffer and the refusal of Nintendo to create new IPs?

Nintendo has made like 10 new 1st Party IPs in the past 2 years.
And 2 of them are already getting sequels: Crashmo (out now) & Dillon's Rolling Western the Last Ranger (April 11th)

Yeah, because we all want to play throw-away iOS-type games.
