I meant 2 jobs to buy a PS3, it will sell 6 million quickly, and all of their games were amazing.

You're a bit too literal.

Also, if PS2 was out for 8 and sold 20 mil a year, why has it only sold 120 million?

Sales decrease over time. It will not remain stagnant for 10 years.

Sure, but most of those 80 million are going to go to Wii as well,
Online, PSN games, HOME -> that will appeal to casuals, PS2 didn`t have that.
AND how MANY PS2 users will JUMP for the Wii JUST because of CONTROLS? HoW many Casuals will ABANDON their favourite PS2 SERIES(Tekken, socom, jak, ratchet, final fantasy and etc.) for Wii? 80-90% of PS2 userbase? DREAM ON.

Also only announced games.
So you think, PS3 won`T have 200 exclusive games by the end 2008? PS3 ALREADY have 50 - http://neocrisis.com/content/view/848/ available and around 100 coming. These are ONLY for 2008-2009. And NOT ALL, yet.

I hope you realize GC had a lower price and didn't sell well.
GC DIDN`T have PSone SEQUELS. FF, MGS, GT, Tekken and etc.

Most gamers who end up buying a Wii or XBox 360 will buy a worse looking (potentially worse playing) game than buy your system saving PS3 game regardless of how good it looks.
Look at ps3/x360 SOFTWARE sales in Europe. good example are PES2008, AC, NFS.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

I think you understimate the value of having a 250$ launch price. Any console, regardless of specs or games will make a lot of sales if it has a debut price half of it's competitors.

 I clearly said 'average', so if the PS3 during it's 10 year life span averaged 10 millioan per year then it would reach 100 million, obviously averaging it out means that the highs and lows are taken into consideration.

As for the PS2, it would have averaged about 15 Million per year for 8 years given it's life to date sales of 120million, but this by no mean means it's sold that much every year, since it's just an average.

@dtewi, these games are not released, HOW I or YOU can know, that they are GOOD. We can only speculate on BRAND and developers, NOTHING MORE.
I said atleast 200 exclusive games which won`t come to PC or x360.
Not to mention x360/p3 multipaltforms, which also WON`T come to PC too.

Most already have look at sales of Ratchet and Clank on PS3, very low, compared to other R&C games, they've already abandoned it. You assume that those games will appeal to casual, yet the buzz for those are entirely traditional gamers

So you DON'T know that these games will sell PS3 yet you say they will. You have no idea yet you're forcing it on other people.

Also I don't see ANYWHERE that it is 2008-2009.

ALSO it has RELEASE gams and PSN. Most casuals don't use internet. So only 75-90 games are worth mentioning, and at least 1/2 are bad. Only 1/4 are good.
