LEGO City: Undercover is a 22GB download [Coin +3]

March 15th, 2013 Posted in News, Posted by Valay, Wii U | 2 Comments »

Maybe this is why LEGO City: Undercover requires an external hard drive in order to initiate a download from the eShop.

The new Wii U game seems to take up a massive amount of space. LEGO City’s file size clocks in at 22GB or so – an unpredictably high figure.

Of course, you could always opt for the retail version of LEGO City. You won’t have to worry about hard drive space if you choose this option.

Around the Network

Ok, this isn`t exactly news, but something that popped at Emily Rogers' twitter.
As some of you might know, a lot of developers pop up at her twitter acount, seeing as she is not just supporting their work, but actually presenting developers to Nintendo.

Guy 1 (with inside info?): (speaking about Nintendo)
"The licensing team (whom I know a few people in) ARE proactive when it comes to publishers."
"They have to work with what they have from an internal politics perspective and publisher politics perspective."

Guy 2 (random internet guy):
"will we see the fruits of their labor?"

Guy 1:
"You're seeing it a little bit. Ubisoft is bringing all of their heavy hitters to Wii U this year. There is more, but I can't discuss that, unfortunately. Sorry :("

But there`s more!
Emily R.:
"Big developers are out there shopping their games to publishers. Nintendo should outbid EA, Activision for those games."

Guy 3 (works at Nicalis):
"I actually much prefer what Nintendo is doing for developers behind the scenes--most of which, I can't discuss. #NDA"

Dont be shy, more predictions just post here!
I'll be doing another Coin Question Very soon

I will be picking up a cosmo black 3ds. The pikachu XL is tempting, but I will wait for the charizard XL. If it ever comes out that is.
