But how are you finding Darksiders? I'm enjoying it quite a bit actually... I'm getting the 2nd one on Wii U later on.


Darksiders 1 is pretty good although I found it odd that people compared it to Zelda. Sure it has the hud and the user interface in the menus seem similar but the gameplay overall reminds me of God of War since its hack and slash game.

Its more like God of War than Zelda imo.

I'm also playing it on Apocalyptic mode which I think is the hardest difficulty, its actually pretty easy compared to God of War lol.

I'm planning to get the 2nd on later on in Steam when it gets cheaper.

If you havent played the first one, I recommend getting it on Steam if you can (I mean like have a decent PC) - there should be a Steam sale going on in a few months or eventually a small weekend sale.

I bought my copy for $4.99 when it went on sale, regular price is $9.99.

Its too bad what happened about Vigil Games, they have/had potential :(

I already own it and play it. It's a pretty good game, I'd say a 7.8/10 (almost great) because the controls on the PC isn't all that good.

I can see where the Zelda comparisons comes from; it has quite a few puzzles. I haven't played GoW so I couldn't compare the two of them.

Yeah, I would have loved to see Vigil continue to make games, or at the very least complete the Darksiders series

Oh I use my PS3 controller and emulate it as a Xbox360 controller and play Darksiders with it xD!

The puzzles in Darksiders at least to me seem similar to God of War o.O. Zelda is more puzzle oriented than God of War or Darksiders at least to me while the two titles are more action packed than Zelda.

Like I said, I haven't played GoW so I wouldn't know... But Zelda did puzzles before GoW, so GoW is similar to Zelda in that aspect ;)

I really, really wish Zelda would get some more action actually... Just look at the first Zelda game; you had action non-stop (more or less). Nowadays it's all about the puzzles... I want the puzzles AND the fighting!

I don't have a console control to play on my PC with =( If I had I would have used it though!
