To DeskPro, I did answer the question. It just doesn't apply to you. Read what I said again if necessary and apply the online/replay thing to a majority of players. Most people play online and finish some games more than once. Thus, the "suckered in".

I don't remember the OP asking about online games so I based my suggestion on that only, but anyways, If you pay for a full year of PS+ then you have a full year to play that game over and over to your hearts content. Look at it this way, a couple games added to your collection every month for a full year adds up.

I don't remember him talking about aything apart from buying a 360, yet here we are.

It wont be hard to find people to convince you not to get a 360 on this site.

There is more than Gears and Halo on the 360. Considering the OP doesn't own a ps3, there is a backlog of 8 years to catch up on, along with amazing xbla titles. Lol@ someone saying you need Gold to buy games. You need gold to access most apps, play online, certain deals, and party chat. Everything else you can have a free silver account.

There new consoles coming out soon.

It will either get cheaper in the next 6 months or you could save money for one of the three next-gen devices.

it's not really that great of a deal.... there are much better on ebay and craigslist...

Well you also need it to go to the XBL arcade, watch netflix and basicly anything that uses the internet

Eh, you need it to access the online store?

No.

The ONLY thing you need Gold for game-wise is to actually play with or against other human beings.

You also tend to get access to demo's a week earlier.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

That's a pretty amazing price. If you're in no hurry to jump into next gen, you get the best console around and 3 great games you can either play or sell. You have 8 years of great games and phenomenal XBLA stuff to check out.

Get it and all the Halo games. You won't regret it.

You shouldn't get it because...it's an Xbox!!

Now seriously, which games are you interested in that you can't play on systems you already own. It's that many?
Are you planning to get a Next-Gen console this holiday?

Make yourself these questions and try to figure out if it's worth it.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

If you're interested in Gears of War, Halo and Forza as well as a bunch of others then go for it.
