I would get you already have a pretty good reason to get one it you already have Eternal Sonata which is a pretty good game.  If you get it you should also get Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery.

I definitely have enough reasons to get a 360 though a more um, preferable reason would be...preferable. If that makes sense. And if I got a 360 now I'd have to put other games on hold that I might want more.

Don't know about IU but I'd totally get Lost Odyssey! Semi-interested in Blue Dragon as well.

Well if you get one and you end up enjoying Eternal Sonata then you should also give IU a try.  Blue Dragon is decent but only it you can get it dirt cheap still haven't beat it yet but I'm about 75% done.

LOL, I didn't know that. I thought once you downloaded it that was it, it was yours to keep forever. To play it even in single player you have to pay. It's worse than xbox live gold....

They really sucker you in, don't they? You think it's "free" LOL!!

I don't know what you're getting on about, but I'd advice you to do some research before you "LOL"

12 games for PlayStation 3 and 6 for PS Vita

New games added to your collection every month

Exclusive discounts of 10% - 75% on the PlayStation Store.

Let me ask you a question. Do you keep downloaded games that you beaten? Isn't that a waste of space?

Fact of the matter is, he can download 12 games without buying it, beat them and then move on. How is that being suckered? Explain.

First off, sorry for derailing the thread forest...

Second, you're telling me you've never, ever played a game through twice? Played it say a year apart, getting caught back up for a sequel about to be released or something? Or liked a game online mode so much you've played that more than other single player games?

You'd have to pay for the "free" game and if you're subscription ran out, pay for the free game again or buy the game retail. Playing a game more than once is a very, very, insanely common thing. Also, especially the ps360 gen, online multiplayer is insanely common. I know people that don't even play single player at all. If it was a ps+ game, you're essentially paying to play exactly like xbl gold.

Look, I asked you a question, you could at least give me the courtesy of answering it.

To answer your question. No, I'll at least try to platinum it, then I'll trade it in for store credit after I'm done. That is how I roll, my preference is different than others. I don't play online FPS 24/7, or single player games multiple times after i'm finished with it.

IIRC, I haven't seen a online multiplayer game up for free download on PS+

However.. there is UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Free-to-Play.

In conclusion, I offered a suggestion to the OP. I don't see the point in others trying to derail this thread.

go ahead and get it thats an amazing deal

You like Tales of games. Tales of Xillia is coming out soon exclusively for PS3. You like Vanquish? Vanquish is free for PS+ members.

Take all that into consideration. I hope this helps.

What happens to Vanquish when your PS+ runs out?

When you beat the game, does it matter what happens when your sub runs out?

I thought you said it was free?

As long as you stay a PS+ member. Yes, that is part of the perks.

its not free. psplus memeber pay 50 dollars a year to play ps3, psn, and psclassic games ranging anywhere from RDR to vanquish. They also get huge discounts on games to keep, 1gb cloud storage, and automatic updates. What does an xbox live member get? Oh, they get to play online. thats cute.

Or you can pay $18 for 3 months of PS+. Anyways, lets not derail the thread further. Let it rest lol.

Get a PS3? PS3 has all the games you mentioned besides tales of vesperia at least outside of Japan.

We get more than that, do some research before you mock. Your mock is a fail if you have no idea what you're on about.

To DeskPro, I did answer the question. It just doesn't apply to you. Read what I said again if necessary and apply the online/replay thing to a majority of players. Most people play online and finish some games more than once. Thus, the "suckered in".

I can't speak for other people, but once I get the platinum in a game or 100% I don't ever play it again. PS+ is a dream come true for me.

The only games I would play I again I purchase. like Uncharted 3 for multiplayer for example.

If you aren't interested in Halo, Gears or Alan Wake there would no point in getting a 360. If you are go for it but if not save the money so you can buy a PS3. Just about every noteworthy 360 game besides Halo, Gears and Alan Wake is on PS3.

Edit: I take it you're a Metal Gear fan. You need a PS3 so you can get the whole experience. It's essential that you play MGS4.
