What does everyone think of Knack?

I love it. Never understood the hate.

At first I was all for it because it reminded me of Kameo from the 360 launch. A light hearted game in a sea of extreme "SMOKE BABIES AND SCREW ALLIGATORS!!" games. Then when I read the very early OPM preview where they said they only used one button the whole time, I cancelled my pre-order and decided to play the wait-and-see game. If the reviews are favorable I'll pick it up at some point.

from what i remember (from an interview with mark cerny) is that depends on the difficulty settings, the more harder the game the more complex the inputs. of course, gaming "journalist" fail to even know this.

I don't understand it either.  Have you had the opportunity to play it?

Nope, but man do I love platformers. Plus it's Mark Cerny at the helm!

If it doesn't deliver though I'd totally understand. It sure isn't being made under standard conditions.

Stupidest thing ever. Can't believe a 3 month delay on a game "nobody" was going to buy is such a tragedy. Only on the internet.

Ethomaz is deeply wounded :(

I still think this. And the one button thing shouldn't be a problem, really. You could beat Kameo using only one spirit (Dat Boxing Flower) and it still was childish fun.

I'd say Knack will do good between reviews.

no idea where to post stuff like this, but:
amazon.de is going to start an offer soon. when is not sure, but they accidently started the action today, but then stopped it fast.

preorder 2 ps4 games and get a third one for free. no idea which games yet, but if you are from germany, make sure to check amazon tomorrow / monday.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse
