Oh I'm serious mate. I generally don't care for story much in hack and slash games, and that's the only weak point in Ascension in my view. I LOVE it. The problem I have with most hack and slash games is certain (often too many) moves leaves opponents transfixed, which can lead to button mashing. That's definitely NOT the case with GOW: A. You have to be on your toes constantly since enemies can withstand your chains and hit you out of a combo (especially mindful on Titan). After playing MGR and DmC, this is definitely the best h&s game for me this year and worthy of several playthroughs.
