I mean Sony's first party is great but they cannot let MS get games like titan fall, I mean that game looks like it is going to be big..... You need more then first party. I also find Sony has ignored RPG's and are obsessed with shooters. The order, might be great but the first think i said when I saw it was...Another shooter? I feel Sony needs another big AAA game close to launch, and need to try to get at least one third party exclusive. |
No, why waste money on something that will just come out on the other platform at a later date. Why the hell even waste money to keep it away from the ps4. That's what they did with titanfall. On everything.. except PlayStation. Pretty stupid. I think Sony learned that coming into the current gen. It's better to have a stable of you own games that rely on 3rd party.
Wait for TGS for rpgs, but everquest, ff 14, 15, and kingdom hearts say differently.

I mean exclusive, not timed. Fully exclusive. I agree to some extent but I still think Going after big third parties can be a big advantage. It's why the PS2 was so dominant. Either way, they do need another AAA game IMO.

Well, you're kind of right about ps2. I'm sure the bought exclusives that helped make it popular, but it has so many exclusives because it was popular and most of the time a port wasn't worth it. The PlayStation name was what made the ps2. The games just followed. That's something of the past tho. That we’ll never see again in the video game industry. It would be much better in away, because you would only need to buy one console to cover you're gaming needs, and now it looks like you're going to need two if you want to play all of the best games.
There's plenty of AAA games coming we don't know about yet, I'm sure they are for the later part of 2014 thought and a few to fill out till that times comes. They can't drop everything at once, then all the hype dies down, and you end up like MS. Cause they don't have anything to show now, Gamescom proved this when they showed one new game, that's in very early development and is likely to drop in 2015. It's going to get pretty dry for xbox.
