Might as well post here as i am lazy to create new topic. PS Plus goodies for August (NA).

  • Hitman: Absolution (PS3)
  • Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars Pinball (PS3)
  • Bit.Trip Presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien (PS3)
  • Machinarium (PS Vita)
  • Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (PS Vita, Compatible with PS Vita)
Seems pretty bad this month. Unless you are into Hitman game like the boondocks avatar guy. Still should be worth it at that price.
Edit: Damn you gooch. My post is better. :P

Blackjack match at the Xbox Nation thread. Anyone wants to sign in? I'll be the dealer.

wat dat?

A game with cards. Plays much like poker, but here are the rules:

· You receive two cards at the beginning, (and you're forced to show the first one you received to the rest of the players) and each player can ask for one more card each time.

· The point is getting your numbers to add up to 21. The closer you are, the more chances you'll win. However, if you pass the number, you lose automatically.

· Aces are valued 11. If you surpass 21 with an Ace, then it becomes a 1.

· Kings, Queens and Jokers value 10.

· Any other card is its own numerical value. (4 is 4, 7 is 7).

· If your two first cards add to 21, you call BLACKJACK and you win that match.

· You can ask as much cards as you want. When every player is set, (they don't want any more cards) they all show their cards and see which one is closer to 21.

Oh ;(

I'll probably end up losing since I'm only good at goldfish and solitaire in terms of card games n_n.

Nevermind, go and sign up in the Xbox Nation thread! We'll do it just for fun :P

The PlayStation 4 version of Blacklight: Retribution will be showcased at Gamescom later this month, Zombie Studios has announced.

Originally released on the PC, Blacklight: Retribution has drummed up over two million users worldwide, and was announced for Sony’s next-generation console earlier this year. Blacklight will launch on PS4 at launch.

Set in a sci-fi universe, Blacklight: Retribution takes the form of a fast-paced FPS, pitting gamers against each other across a wealth of game modes, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and other multiplayer-based staples.

Various maps are available to battle on, and there’s plenty of weapon customisation options available too. Aside from picking up Shotguns, assault rifles and other firearms, players can adjust muzzle, barrel, magazine, sights and other weapon properties to fit their preferred playing style.

We’ll be sure to bring you more on the game as it comes to our attention.

Have you played Blacklight: Retribution on PC? Are you excited for the upcoming PS4 release? Sound off in the comments section below.

PS+ Games in August (EU)

  • Need for Speed: Most Wanted
  • Mafia II
  • When Vikings Attack
  • Spec Ops: The Line
  • Lego Lord of the Rings
You guys really should pick up Spec Ops: The Line, thats the best PS+ game on the list

Probably the hardest game this year. Do yourself and get it on PS3 if you are interested instead of Vita. all 5 of you. You might break the little guy in frustration.

Pros

Gameplay and Design are excellent
You like challenge? Here it is.
Works well with itself and reaches out to players
A must for fans of this style of gameplay

Cons

Difficulty will limit game’s potential reach
Could have used more music and some QA on the cutscenes
Laser fire from the sky? Are you ****ing me!?

Earlier, we uncovered this listing which appears to show Assassin’s Creed Rising Phoenix for PlayStation Vita. This has happened before and screens listed for “internal use only” have even leaked out yet Ubisoft and Sony have both stayed quiet on the subject.

That is until now, rather than us posting the listing as yet another rumour, we reached out to Ubisoft, who replied saying “The listing is a fake and isn’t legit,” solving that mystery.

So, does that mean Rising Phoenix will stay as a pile of ashes for now? It could be, or could it just mean that the game isn’t for PlayStation Vita? Whatever the case, we’ll either hear about it at Gamescom, or we won’t.

Anyway, it’s another fake listing for a possibly fake game, that’s all we’ve got for now.
