Yeah this is really odd. Leads me to believe that sony has started production and are on course to produce a lot of consoles before release. I heard they also opened preorders in India which I think originally was not gonna get a launch till after 2013 though I could be wrong. I also think they were may not have decided on whether to launch in japan in 2013 and they have finally decided not to and are able to allocate more to NA and EU.
