I love the artstyle of the infamous concept art...i wish the game was a bit more over the top as it was in concept.

Those other powers look interesting as well. Hopefully they have some DLC for infamous and be more creative/bad ass with new powers.

Currently im playing through infamous again on expert and on the evil side. So much more fun. I always forget to do my first playthrough as a bad guy. But for some reason playing as the bad guy never seems to fit the story or the character.

The Drop: New PlayStation Games for 4/22/2014

+ Posted by Ryan Clements on Apr 20, 2014 // Social Media Specialist

Space ships, sea creatures, and shambling undead! It’s a big week for gaming, and PS Vita in particular, with a hefty batch of new games coming to the PlayStation family.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch arrives on PS4, with a lovable hero and hilarious play, to boot. Help a charming octopus get through life’s little challenges (Like marriage!) without revealing his true aquatic origins. Be warned: playing Octodad may result in fits of teary-eyed laughter. Not recommended while driving.

Meanwhile, it’s a huge week for PS Vita, which hosts the launch of The Walking Dead: Season 2 — Episode 1. The award-winning, post-apocalyptic series continues with the heart-wrenching story of Clementine. Survive in a world gone to hell, where every choice made could impact Clementine’s fate.

But that’s not all for PS Vita. Starlight Inception arrives as well; soar between the stars in this space combat experience that packs a full story, multiplayer modes, and even an additional tower defense game set in the same fiction.

Feeling a little more like a classic JRPG? Brave the dangers of first-person dungeons with Demon Gaze on PS Vita. All this and more below, so read on — and enjoy the Drop!

PlayStation Now Beta Gets a Lot of New Games, Raises Quality; “Rental” System and Screenshots Leaked

by Giuseppe Nelva (34 minutes ago) 3

Looks like Sony is applying some very fast iteration on the games offered as part of the PlayStation Now beta test, and one of our readers took upon himself the task to deliver a few snapshots showcasing the new catalog, which shows an arguable improvement in the quality of the titles included since the last update.

Here’s the full list of the games currently available:

  • Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear
  • LUMINES: Supernova
  • NIGHTS Into Dreams…
  • Retro/Grade
  • Sacred Citadel
  • Saints Row: The Third
  • Skullgirls Encore
  • Sniper Elite V2
  • Puppeteer
  • Eat Them!
  • PixelJump Racers 2nd Lap
  • PixelJunk Shooter 2
  • BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
  • Ben 10 Omniverse 2
  • Contrast
  • Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness
  • Catherine
  • El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron
  • FUEL
  • GRID

Another very interesting elements we can see in the snapshots below is the “rental” system present in the beta (the actual games in the screenshot have been obscured in order to protect our tipster’s identity). Basically when you decide to play a game in the beta you can select to do so for 30 days, 14 days or 7 days. It pretty much works like a rental.

At the moment, of course, there are no price tags attached, and it’ll be interesting to see how this will translate into the final version this summer.
