I think it's been hinted at having a Summer release.
Fans of quirky Japanese games on PS4 have one more reason to rejoice today, as the prominent Japanese retailer Sofmap just made the PS4 version of Acquire’s Akiba’s Trip 2available for pre-order.
The listing mentions a July 3rd release date (in Japan) and a 5,180 yen (just over 50 bucks) price. What’s more interesting is that the retailer also details all the upgrades coming with the PS4 version:
While Acquire still didn’t make an official announcement, the listing is extremely detailed, so we can pretty much take it as a semi-confirmation.
XSeed Games already announced that it will localize the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game between the Summer and the Fall of this year, and we reached out to ask if the PS4 port is on the menu as well. We’ll keep you updated on any relevant information we’ll receive.
Update: the information has been confirmed by Acquire, officially promoting this from a rumor to sanctioned news.
Sony has registered for a pair of new trademarks with the USPTO.
“Entwined” and “Kill Strain” were filed for on April 14 and April 15 respectively. And on April 17 and April 18, the two names entered the Trademark Reporting and Monitoring System.
Entwined and Kill Strain are both intended to be used for game software. More specifically, the two trademarks pertain to “Computer game software; Downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices; Video game software”.
Could either of these two registrations be related to upcoming, unannounced titles for Sony’s platforms?
^ That's pretty similar to what they did last year with Helldivers. They trademarked the game months before its reveal during the Summer conventions.

Two trademarks filed from Sony. Kill Strain and Entwined.
Kill Strain kind of sounds like zombies? Not sure about the other one
In 1908, an impact from space debris over Siberia led to the discovery of an alien craft. Within that craft was technology far exceeding what humans had ever created…which naturally led to the KGB using this technology for war in the late 1940s. Such is the story in MechRunner, an offering by Spark Plug Games. Spark Plug is known for quite a number of indie games, including Puzzle Quest 2 and the upcoming Firefly Online, and has a reputation for delivering quality products at release. MechRunner is no exception, as it’s currently playable and feature-complete. This Kickstarter is to finalize details for extra features, and ensure the best experience possible for players.
MechRunner is an endless-style arcade game where you play as the opposition to the KGB, using your mechs to destroy the robots unleashed upon Eurasia. It will be available on PS4, PS Vita, and Steam. The project features graphic design by Josh Nizzi, who’s known for his work on Thor: The Dark World, most recently, and Grammy-nominated David Joseph Wesley, who is also designing music for Firefly Online.
The rewards offered range from desktop wallpapers at $5, or a copy of the game for $10, all the way to $2500, which nets you the chance to design an enemy and get a design credit in the game. The campaign is going through May 16, 2014, and seeing as it’s already reached just over $4k, it looks like this dream will become a reality.
Follow the Kickstarter (and contribute to the campaign) here, “like” the game on Facebook, and follow @mechrunnerSPG for updates.

Also The Order: 1886 Trademarked late April last year and then announced at E3. |
Oh that's right. I forgot about that.
The Crew is now available to pre-order on Uplay, The Crew is the upcoming racing video game by Ubisoft coming this Fall to PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The Crew’s map promised to be a huge map that will takes 90 minutes to drive from coast to coast in-game. Details, Trailers and screenshots from here.
However, The Crew will be available in two editions (Standard and limited edition), Whats intersting in the standard edition is that you can’t pre-order it for PC?! The PC version is not available to pre-order at the game’s page on Uplay.
The limited edition will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and for those who pre-order that limited edition will get their hands on:

What was the one feature that most gamers criticized Grid 2 for not supporting? Yeap, that was no doubt the cockpit view that was removed for no apparent reason. So, GRID 3 (or the next installment to the GRID series) will be announced in a couple of days and a lot of gamers wondered whether Codies have learned their lesson or not. Well, good news everyone as the development team has been listening to its fanbase, meaning that the cockpit view will return in this new installment of the GRID series.
As Codemasters confirmed, the upcoming teaser is not about a new DLC for GRID 2, meaning that the next GRID will be unveiled on April 22nd. Not only that, but Codies have confirmed that the cockpit view will return.
It will be interesting to see whether this will be a cross-platform title, and whether the old-gen version will feature a cockpit view. Oh, and let’s hope that the Codies won’t pull a “Fifa 14″ on us.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
