New HW up, PS4 is about 126k at a quick glance. I really hope thats undertracked otherwise there is terrible production problems at sony.

You seriously believe in production problems at this point? It's either undertracked or not selling more. Or the production problems may be caused by Sony not having enough money to produce more. Cause going by Vgchartz numbers we're looking at, at best 750k monthly. Sony's numbers were around 1,8 million in Jan - Feb. That's all way below the speculated 1,2 million units produced monthly. And that's a pretty conservative number, cause iirc Pachter was saying about 1,4 a month.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I don't really believe in production problems but I can't see what else it would be if it isn't undertracked because its still sold out everywhere. As you said, at this rate their sales per month have dropped drastically. If these numbers aren't seriously undertracked then something is going very badly wrong at Sony.

I don't know, it's pretty much readily available since at least March in all major electronic retailers in Poland going for MSRP, and was available all the time at smaller gaming shops, but it was going for crazy prices around 500 Euros so it's understandable. On the other hand going by what people were saying about their countries, Poland were getting more frequent shipments. But to be honest I just think that I was simply checking stock more often and have a friend who is a manager at a Saturn store so I knew more. Cause I don't see a reason why Poland would be getting so much more stock than Sweden for example (Kivi95 sounded like there would be no PS4s to be found in Sweden for months)

Interesting... if this is the true level of demand then PS4 isn't gonna do too hot

Well, some people here (The Netherlands) are still waiting for their pre-orders and early orders...

I'm not saying it's like that everywhere, we have evidence that Amazon in many countries sells out from time to time to get restocked again, on the other hand people look a lot into Amazon, not checking other sites or retailers, but that's a different matter. And selling 130k a week is nothing to scoff at I just think that the "sold out everywhere" phrase is an urban legends at this point.

Yeah 130k isn't bad but it isn't setting the world on fire XD. I agree it can't be sold out everywhere but it is most places. Perhaps Sony is witholding some stock for later this month with infamous, MGSV and restocks in some European countries. That being said though I can't see them holding back that much stock. I just really hope its undertracked.

Well, demand here in The Netherlands is still very high! I just checked 4 of the biggest online retailers, 2 are sold out and are expecting the next batch this month (March), one is expecting a batch this month but says it can take up to 12 weeks for the PS4 to arrive at your house, and 1 has removed the PS4 from it's site...

Also, Sony is probably keeping some consoles for bundles for games like inFAMOUS, Metal Gear Solid and even Watch Dogs.

That's what I hope is the case as well, Vgchartz was undertracking PS4 all the time, but admittedly by very small margins, they've been pretty spot on with the numbers, so I'm inclined to believe it is doing around those numbers that we get, undertracked by maybe 5 -10k weekly.
