its first party, it isnt japanese (its a western dev) and i would say its Sony Santa Monica, he probably included the teams working with indie devs. or the-3.14-guy says maybe its London Studio. 

Yeah SSM seems like the best bet.  I thought they only had 1 small team for indies, but maybe they have 2.  And then another 3 teams working on huge AAA games.  I hope Cory Barlog is doing a God of War reboot that will blow everyone away.  


NO!!! why on earth would you hope that? when he said he is forming an "oceans 11" kind of team you sure hope they would try to make something new?! i doubt they are 3 AAA teams and i sure hope Cory barlogs game is an AAA game. but i want new IP's from SSM. the only IP i really want Sony to continue is Uncharted and they are doing that, im not sure if i want them to make another one after that as well. (and yes, i would prefer a new IP over TLoU!!)

YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!  People have to be naive to think SSM won't do another GOW if they think it has more life in it and it certainly does, but it has to be something totally different and mindblowing but still have that GOWness to it.  If it's just like the other games with just a new character and setting I will be disappointed.  They need to innovate the hack 'n slash genre.  Though either way I would totally be down for 2-3 new IP's from SSM this gen!!

I think Uncharted 4 will be the last uncharted and then that team will go to a new IP.  I bet Neil and bruce will do a TLOU sequel.  They are a kickass team so they can totally do it and have the same impact the first made.  But I would totally go for a new IP.  I do not want them to go back to JAK!!  They are way beyond those games as of now. 


I've got your back nnodley. I love the current roster of Sony franchises and hope for a lot of sequels.

GoW is a must, and GoW 2 is my favourite, so Cory you know what to do I also think that ND will do something new after Uncharted PS4, and Neil Druckmann will make a sequel to one of the best games ever, The Last of Us, with a release date of 2016. 

And yeah, don't go back to Crash or Jak, writers talent would be wasted on those types of games.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Definitely agree with not wanting Naughty Dog to do Jak & Daxter. God of War on the other hand I'd rather they hold off. Let that franchise rest. I don't want to see another God of War for about 4 or 5 years. I'm pretty sure Uncharted 4 is the last one and I'd rather they not make a sequel to The Last of Us.

I think the studio that has 5 teams working on games would be London Studio. They are known for developing multiple internal projects and have even released 8 or 9 internally developed games in a single year. I am pleasantly proven wrong about Guerrilla Games' new IP and how many teams they apparently have. I was expecting the game to only have been in development for a year or so. It sounds like we could hear about it at E3 since it'll be close to three years in development by then.

Holy crap, is the FF 14 intro boring or what!? They could at very least have had the characters make some sort of sound atleast while talking.

Yeah that ws my reaction at the start. It starts so slowly and the characters don't even make sounds XD. I almost gave up straight away but once you can finally get to the fighting its a really fun game.

About PS4 Japan sales - I was hoping for higher but 322k is good. However, this to me makes it seem like they have some production issues. If you look at what they've sold as of 23rd feb (about 5.9m) that means they've sold about 1.7m since december 28th (57 days). If you take into consideration that they air shipped forward probably about 300k for December that means they would have had about 2m to sell during this time. This is just over 1m in 31 days. So, if production stays the same I think they will be selling slightly more than 1m a month from now on, probably 250k a week. Unless demand drops.
