$140 plus tax. They should have created a bluetooth Wiimote + Nunchuck set and use those $140 to future proof the console.

..but people like myself would rather have the more unique game play experience that the Gamepad allows than slightly better graphics. If people don't like the Wii U, then they have a choice not to buy one. The ones of us that have and enjoy ours are tired of the other systems fanboys commenting on the Wii U when they really have no idea....

Well said, if some of these people actually played on a WiiU they would realise how awesome the gamepad is. I wouldnt swop it for the world, and it brings so much potential with it. The console itself is also powerful enough to receive multiplats (watch dogs), so i get a console with decent enough graphics and the best ways to play local multiplayer.

Around the Network

The moral of the story: Don't drop your gamepad.

Saw plenty of photos of shattered screens on the net first day.

I have a 3 year old daughter, and she has had strict instructions from daddy not to go anywhere near the gamepad.

I know that feeling, I let my 2 year old sister play my Vita last week. I was half delighted, half HOLY SHIT SHE JUST PRESSED THAT BUTTON TOO HARD.
