@what short and selective memory you have :D Not too long ago we had a member going nuts on vgc about how the wiiu versions of multiplats would be orlds apart in quality compared to ps360 etc etc. We had threads on how x game on nintendo platforms will outsell all games on vita combined etc etc. Guess you see what you want to see. It won't change the reality tho

You have a very weird definition of arrogance. You need to have a certain level of tolerance. It's a sad reality if you can't stand fans having some fun...if such things make people butt hurt enough to make doom threads then they are rather sad and pathetic people. Arrogance and having fun are two very different things. WiiU fans got a taste of their own medicine pretty much with the recent wiiu sales. I hope it comes to and end but I doubt it. I fully expect them to pick on every single silly thing they can find (we already had a few threads focusing on a selective few words from the presentation lol) and make threads on it just to get their asses kicked later on...rinse repeat. Horrible reality for a gaming community

Huh? , well I thought OP was talking about Sony "Being back" as in making quality products again, I agree with that, since their 2006-2010 lineup was so much crap and half assed

their laptops were overpriced and laughable in performance, their cameras were always under the competition by a huge margin, and the walkman just fell into the niche and gimmick, their tvs felt like samsung's low end tvs, and don't tell me about the phones, they were just as bad till they bought Sony-Ericsson, the only thing that they had barely doing right is their Playstation brand, a lot of people in the media thought that sony should just focus on Playstation and stop making anything else, and lots of people would agree to that.

but lately they're being releasing awesome stuff, similar to what they used to do back in their 90's days, so in Turkish defence (even though he annoys me),  I think thats what he meant.

I love that Sony loves to throw things into water. It makes me happy knowing the bath room is no longer off limits. With my current phone design to fail with even being near a glass of water and water indicators put in places to insure they'll deny your warranty. I'm happy about Sony's stance on this.

I think I need to be more specific about what I think is a problem. Being excited is fine, celebrating good sales/success is fine. Hell, even boasting about good sales is acceptable, if a bit arrogant. What's not fine and causes a lot of problems is boasting about success that you're predicting will happen. That's why I say that the Wii U deserves the hate it's getting; Nintendo fans expected it to be wildly successful and made lots of threads about it. This got on people's nerves and, when the Wii U didn't manage this success, the hate burst through.

As such, the Wii U multiplats threads were obviously annoying and thus led to all the threads about how its graphics suck. The Vita vs 3DS Mario game threads, though, were fine in retrospect, because they were actually accurate. Arrogant, but since they were basically certainties, no one can complain.

This thread, on the other hand, is just annoying. Not because fans are excited and having fun; I'm completely alright with that. That tablet thread Turkish made,  for example, is just hyping that product, which is great. This thread, though, is just asserting that all these Sony products will be awesomely successful. That is arrogance by which most people are ticked off. Maybe people should be more tolerant, but the fact of the matter is, this is going to be one of the first threads I'm going to link to serve crow to Sony fans if and when these products fail.

You insist it's sad and pathetic to dislike this attitude, but I really don't agree. No one likes that guy who jumps around boasting to everyone that he aced that last quiz in class and that he's a genius and awesome and better than everyone else. When someone like that turns out to have failed said assessment, it's common courtesy to stuff it in his face.

You might want to take a look at their stock. Not looking as good as you think

Nope..you are still way off on what arrogance actually means. A fan claiming things like 'x' company is back..it will do great etc etc is just hype induced comments. Just harmless fun..people need a thicker skin if they find that annoying to be honest. Turkish does go over the line from time to time. I think people are just jumping the gun because it's a thread by him and over thinking the simplest things. The day we have to justify our hype or excitement to others so they don't get the wrong idea..we might as well leave the internet all together.

oh and about that example..definitely annoying when someone does that. But that's because it's directly related to you on a personal level..it's because you are in that class. If you let everything like this affect you on the internet..might as well leave it all together

About using this thread to fuel some console war BS...just don't. Ninty fans have given enough ammunition comments and thread wise in the past year to sony fans to give some bitch slapping in return. So just don't. You are part of the problem if you do. Several times I had the urge to make a few threads about the wiiu too...I am a HUGE fan of vita and it would have been a perfect chance to 'get back' or 'serve crow'. I chose not to. I rather see everyone take the high road, talk things like game mechanics, story, tech etc around here more. I chose not to be part of the problem..you should too..especially since you are kidding yourself if you think wiiu troubles are at an end any time soon
