Forums - Nintendo - Did Nintendo drop the ball this gen?! *Video*

Saw this video and thought he had some valid points. He's no fan boy, mind you! Just wanted to point that out before anyone suggests that.

What do you think??

I agree that they did on the Home Console front.

Handheld front they're still really strong, but they need to transition.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

ReviewTechUSA, I just watched this vid about an hour ago! lol

Yes, to me, Nintendo really did dropped the ball, for now...

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

I still think people are jumping the gun. What happens if the PS4/X720 also fail to ramp up sales momentum after launch? Analyse the market before you analyse a competitor.

"Where were the exclusive at launch? Last I can remember was N64 (Super Mario 64)."

Dismisses Wii Sports because it was bundled. Goes back to N64. Forgets about Smash Bros. Melee, Rogue Squadron 2, Luigi's Mansion, and Super Monkey Ball for the GameCube.

And Zelda TP on Wii ^^ but still, the main point he's making still stands

Nintendo never had the ball, but hey, at least they have that kiddy stuff that sells decently

Post launch game wise, yes.

I'll wait until the wii u has actually lived for a few years before I decide. Starting E3 they can turn things around. But yes the last 2 months have been a let down but that isn't anything new for a launch system.
