So many sites are saying that pikmin 3 was in development for a launch title for wii, however it never came. I believe that this was speculation. However, many vgchartz users seem to have loved the first two installments.

Therefore, I want to ask you, what should pikmin 3's...

-Storyline Be: How will they continue from the last game.

-New features be: New modes and new pikmin abilities

-Motion sensor controlls be: C-Stick movements controlled by pointing wii mote+button

Or will game will ever be made at all?

This is probably late fall 2008 or early spring 2009. It will probably be announced in the next few months.

god I hope this gets made, especially for DS. I think it could contain a construction feature that allows you to enhance your pikmin or make more.
Also materials that you have to collect to make things, instead of collecting spaceship parts

I want a Pikmin 3 so bad. In fact I am currently playing Pikmin 2 and liking everything about it. Hopefully we will get this game by the end of 2008.

Never concidered it for the DS, but it would definantly be cool. Moving stylus to direct olimar, and tapping to trow a pikmin. But I would still like to see the series continue on the wii.

A new Pikmin game is definitely one of the titles Nintendo might announce for the second half of the year. So far the only major first party titles announced after Brawl are Mario Kart and Disaster, so there will probably be something reasonably big for the holidays.

It's definitely coming sooner or later, and I wouldn't mind if it was sooner.

I think they will make a DS/Wii version(kinda like there was a DS/Wii M&S) that will come out in August to help fill the Lull between MK and the big unknown holiday titles. Pikmin would be a good choice for this because it would defitily have legs through Christmas.

I just miss the crazy creatures and pikmin, I think I should take out pikmin 2 again.

What? There should be games to come out AFTER brawl?

Seriously, I am hoping for this game and a good usage of the pointer. Hopefully, a Goblin Commander type game comes out as well (man that game would have been so much better were it to use the pointer).

The lack of RTS games right now is annoying and it definitely is a factor that game developers should be looking into.
