Awesome news. As long as the download speed is far superior to the PS3 I should use it a lot. Which of course it will.
It actually would make impulse buys more likely. Now I am crossing my fingers for a rental service like gamefly , but closer to Netflix in terms of digital use. I do not need to own most games as they are either really short or one time play through. Hopefully, they make it happen.

I'd imagine it's a reference to the fact that every game that comes out on a disk will be available digitally (much like on Vita now); but PSN titles (like The Witness) will not be released on a disk.

I like holding the box though. Man that sounded so stupid after I typed it. I like this move. Hope the HDD is large enough to support a hefty library of games.

If games are 50GB and the HDD is 500GB, that's only 10 games. This could prove problematic.

op: I prefer DD, but even a TB of storage is not going to fit all the AAA games people buy if they get up to around 50gb. They have to be half that big on average for it to be feasible. 

Well for one, this would make you go over your monthly download cap with your Cable provider very easily. Expect a hike in your next internet bill lol
