Oh we've got an MS fanboy here. You guys are rare in real life but frequent online, I see. Noone wants their shitty support other than making their programs compatible! I have worked as a programmer, and Believe me,it takes extra effort to make it incompatible with Windows XP. So they are taking EXTRA EFFORT AND STEPS TO MAKE SURE THEIR SOFTWARE IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH XP. That is evil, my friend!

Please do not advocate otherwise, you will just be revealing your MS Tag.

Are you suggesting that MS should be required to keep pumping money into supporting ancient operating systems so that the 17 people left on planet Earth that are too poor to upgrade to a new OS will be happy? How does that make smart business sense? I mean, where should we draw the line? Is MS supposed to contiune XP support until the year 2045 because you and 3 other fruit cakes refuse to use a new OS? I'm just curious.

If you want to hurt MS (like I do) then here is a checklist:

- Advertise Linux and Android everywhere at every chance to everyone

- Explain people how shitty their products have been and become (windows and office likewise)

- Show them in action that Everything MS does is much worse than competition.

- Show them how they keep screwing up their customers for their loyalty (original Xbox, early 360 models, windows phone 7, Windows XP support etc)

- Try to find one single benefit you benefit from upgrading from XP on, that cannot be improved with 3rd party hardware or is not available on Linux! The only real benefit windows 7 is usb 3 support which is still not so common and an evil to abstain it from XP.

I seriously have not bought a single MS Product other than what already came with the PC. I have bought a "used MS mouse" though, does it count?

Kind of funny to accuse Microsoft of support dropping when they didn't cut Halo 2 servers untill the weekly player number was actually less than 10, not 10M, not 10K, no just 10 people!

And this is why Microsoft makes money so they can create new products, smart business.

MS are secretly owned by Satan, who puts upside down crosses inside the GPUs of all Xbox consoles so that just looking at their graphics steals your soul. Furthermore, MS uses their Xbox profits to buy yellowcake uranium which they sell to North Korea in exchange for being the only console that's allowed to be sold there. Xbox sales in Asia are actually zero if you take away North Korea, but it's how they stay just ahead of the PS3. North Korea uses their CPUs for nuclear missile guidance computers, of course.

Seriously what part of my talk above don't you understand?  They are taking extra effort and step to make it incompatible with XP. I just demand them to do NOTHING. Believe me, when you do "NOTHING" extra on the original code and compile for windows 7, it will be compatible with XP unless they use something EXTRA SPECIAL FOR WINDOWS 7 or 8.

All other freaking software is compatible is windows XP, just not MS products!!! Do you get it!!!?

Used products only half count. :P Now that I think about it, the only M$ product I've ever bought with my own money was a mouse several years ago. lol I'll probably purchase Windows 8 before the year is out, though.

They are smart alright, at least to a degree! But that doesn't make them an honorable firm, who is loyal to customers. There are many other smart and "honorable" ways to make money. Yes, you may lose some in the Short Run but in LR, chances you will make more money. It is not all about screwing up your customers after all. Apple makes a lot more money than MS, and its customers love Apple  a lot more than those of MS, believe me because Apple genuinely respects their customers, although in return to generous monetary compensation. MS just takes your money, with no style, no taste, no personality, no grand plan, no real organization, no humanly creativity, no artistic sense, nothing!!!
