I mean Sony went with this type of "4"

What do you think would have been the best? I don't have an issue with Sony's choice but to be honest I was expecting the latter so I was surprised.

As I'm sure people have already pointed out, the one they went with looks like a tent that has blown over.

But it's also the way I write 4, so it's cool.

The second 4 looks too close to 死 (kanji for "death") :P

nah I like the one they went with. The 4 stands out from the other two letters in it.

Since Playstation is big in Europe the went with the more European looking four.

I like the logo they went with instead of the one you showed.
