@Griffin: The fact you are using GTA:SA as an example kinda made me die a little.

I hear that during this interview, he only used about 2% of his brain's potential.
My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957
2%? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...
Get it in your skulls folk, the PS3 is not the end all and be all of powerhouse consoles.
It's powerful yes, but it's not 'THAT' powerful.
This may sound like a trollish claim but I've yet to see it outdo the 360 in any aspect...
(Oh and anyone wanting to challenge this, KZ2 and GT5 could very well be done on the 360, so other examples plzkthxbai)
@ Mr Marc, can the 360 do Uncharted good graphics?
Anyway, how can you run a game only using 2 % of the power of a console?
"you give a developer 3 ½ years, which is a long freakin’ time, but 3 ½ years and a good budget to make a game for PS3, and you just say " |
So, the if the game sucks, they only needed more time and money...
I guess there is a big line of devs who wants to spend a lot money and time untapping the pottential...
Cost-effective guys, cost-effective...
@ Munkeh
Since Naugthy Dog hasn't made a game for the 360, is unknow..

They were always cool, they were just kind of slow, you know, but I mean they were slow with the PSP when it first released. Then all of a sudden, second generation, I mean you got all the support you ever needed plus, you know?" So where are all these super fantastic PSP games? |
I'm pretty sure he was talking about Sony supporting developers.

haha that is like my first reaction after reading that interview, sounds like the guy is smoking something or someone really dumb.
If this game only taps 2% of the power then I don't want this game.
I mean, it'd have to be pong or something.

I love the part where he goes on about how "orginial" the game is because the main character is an average joe, caught up in the conflict, not wanting to fight, etc, etc...and acts like this is some ingenious revolutionary concept. What a tool
Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

I was using it as an example compared to the first one, SA looks twice as good as GTA3, along with no loading while ouside. GTA:SA's one city is over twice the size of GTA3 which needed to load each part of the city.
