Well if it IS real then it'll be a port of the 3DS version.
The dual screen stuff would transition quite well to WiiU and its Gamepad, I think.

Skaurai doesn't own the IP.  Even if he doesn't make it, Nintendo could very well make their own game.

Considering RE Revelations and MH3U, this wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah. Doubt it though.

He said he put everything he had into this game to make up for 25 years since the last one and hoped that the game would be good enough that they don't make another one for 25 years, hence the bit at the end of the game where one character estimated it would take them that long to come back. Kid Icarus sold well but probably could have been better (at least in the Western territories) if it was a console game and if it does, Nintendo would likely get another Kid Icarus game out there well before Sakurai's self imposed 25 year rule.

As a fan of the game, I hated Sakurai for that statement but in truth all it means is that he is unlikely to work on another Kid Icarus game. That being said, Nintendo needs games on the Wii U, a HD port of KI: Uprising would be a good game for the system (especially if they make sure it is a legit HD upgrade like they say Wind Waker is going to be and not a cheap upscale port) and the Wii U could certainly use quality software of that caliber.

Still not full price. Unless you're rebuilding a game from the ground up, the cost of production is always going to be miniscule compare to a brand new title. Its only right they're also priced in such a way in my opinion. $40 maximum

Uprising is easily in the top 5 on the 3DS

KIU is definitely my favorite 3DS game that I own. I really want to see it become a regular franchise. :/
